The Maltese sword is the genuine weapon of the Maltese knight. To be considered for admission to the prestigious order, one must be a skilled warrior who can wield their sword. The Maltese sword is highly classical and focused on the essentials; a strong steel blade, a solid guard, and a good weight distribution that allows the owner to control the sword precisely.
The story behind
Maltese
The Maltese Series has its origins in the order of knighthood that was entrusted with Malta in 1530. Their duty was clear: they had to protect European landowners against sea-robber states. Throughout the centuries the order of knighthood protected Malta and preserved its sovereignty. Today, the knights are simply called Maltese Knights and the story of their heroic deeds and ideas lives on today.
